The Ben Wicks Award is a program designed to give three different new cartoonists each year a chance to have their work published. The winners of this award receive exposure to their art, as well as a cheque for $10,000 (Canadian Dollars) to help further their education or career.

To have your work considered for the Ben Wicks Award, all you need to do is illustrate a five page package (found in the samples & templates page) that we have put together, and submit your entry by the contest deadline.

The winner and runner-ups are each notified within a week or two of the deadline and the winner then must fulfill their obligation to illustrate the publication they won for.

  • All entries become property of RMC inc and cannot be returned
